The terms and conditions that apply to the Amos Rex Ab (hereafter “Amos Rex”) ticketing system (hereafter “online shop”) cover all transactions enacted by the customer in the Amos Rex online store, regardless of the device used by the customer. Use of the online shop is subject to the current terms and conditions and applicable legislation.  

The terms and conditions constitute an agreement between the customer and Amos Rex and define the rights and obligations of the customer and Amos Rex with regards to the online shop.  

When making purchases in the online store, the customer declares that they have read the terms of use and commits to act in accordance with them.  

 

Ticket purchase  

Online tickets for the exhibition  

  • Online tickets can be purchased from the Amos Rex website www.amosrex.fi. 

  • Online tickets may be purchased for the customer’s chosen date and time according to the museum’s opening hours and availability.   

Tickets for museum events  

  • Tickets may be purchased from the Amos Rex website www.amosrex.com.   

Validity  

Online tickets for the exhibition   

  • Online ticket is valid for the chosen day and hour stated on your ticket, while the museum is open. The chosen date or time may not be changed after purchase. Online ticket can be redeemd upon arrival within 20 minutes counting from it's starting time.

Tickets for museum events  

  • Tickets purchased for museum events are valid only at the time of the specified event, unless otherwise stated. Please check the time of the event when you make your purchase.  

Ticket checking 

Online ticket for exhibition entry  

  • Online tickets for exhibition entry must be exchanged for an exhibition-entry sticker on the chosen day that was selected at the time of purchase. The valid entry date and time is stated on the advance ticket. Online ticket can be redeemd upon arrival within 20 minutes counting from it's starting time.

  • The QR-code ticket can be displayed on your smartphone or as a printout. The ticket may not be redeemed against a name.  

  • If the online ticket is for a discounted group, the ticket holder must be prepared to prove that they belong to the concession group that corresponds to the ticket type.  

Guided tour ticket

  • Guidet tour ticket is scanned upon arrival. 
  • If the ticket is for a discounted group, the ticket holder must be prepared to prove that they belong to the concession group that corresponds to the ticket type.  

Ticket to a museum event

  • The ticket is checked upon arrival. The ticket may be in print-out form or be displayed on a smartphone screen. 

  • The ticket bearer must be prepared to prove that they belong to the concession group that corresponds to the ticket type.  

Rights  

Online ticket for the exhibition  

  • An online ticket entitles the bearer to single entry to the exhibition on the chosen day and time.  

  • The ticket may be used by another person (with the exception of tickets bought with Smartum or ePassi). Advance ticket rights apply only to the bearer of the ticket.  

Ticket for museum event 

  • Tickets for museum events entitle the bearer to attend the event selected at the time of purchase. The ticket may be used by another person (with the exception of tickets bought with Smartum or ePassi).  

Ticket reservations  

  • Online tickets can only be purchased from the Amos Rex Ticket sales web shop. Single advance tickets cannot be reserved via the museum’s customer service or bought at the ticket counter on site. For group visits please contact our customer service for guided tours: opasvaraus@amosrex.fi.  

Ticket payment  

  • The online ticket sales payment service is provided by Paytrail, which provides online banking services for Finnish banks and the most common bank and credit cards.  

Ticket delivery  

  • Tickets purchased from the online shop will be delivered to the customer’s e-mail address upon receipt of payment.   

Terms of exchange and reimbursement  

Online ticket for the exhibition  

  • In principle, purchased tickets may not be exchanged or refunded. In case of sickness, please contact us at museum@amosrex.fi before the tickets' arrival time to receive a refund for the ticket.

Tickets for museum events  

  • In principle, purchased tickets may not be exchanged or refunded.  If you fall ill, please contact us at museum@amosrex.fi before the tickets' arrival time to receive a refund for the ticket.

Problem situations  

  • If you have a question regarding your order, please leave a message at museum@amosrex.fi.  

Miscellaneous  

  • We reserve the right to change our terms of delivery. The customer should be familiar with the current terms of delivery before placing the order.
